Account Deletion Request

Petlito users can request the deletion of their account and associated personal data by following the steps below.

How to request account deletion

Option 1: Via Mobile App

Open the Petlito mobile application.
Go to Profile → Profile Actions Menu → Delete Account.
Submit the account deletion request.

Option 2: Via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can also send a request by email.

Please include the email address associated with your Petlito account.

What data will be deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:

User account information (user ID, email, profile data)
Pet profiles
Posts, comments and media uploaded by the user
Messages sent by the user
Follower / following and interaction data

Data Retention & Policy

What may be retained

The following data may be retained for legal, security and operational purposes:

Server logs and security records

                                Retention Period
                                
                                        30 Days
                                        Account and personal data are deleted within 30 days after
                                            the request is submitted.
                                    
                                        90 Days
                                        Security and system logs may be retained for up to 90
                                            days.
